Ayla McCarthy Combes (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, witch, poet, teacher  and fairy at heart weaving bridges between here & the Otherworlds through image, sound, and movement. Inspired by dreamscapes, landscapes, play, and their ever-evolving explorations as a tarot reader, astrologer, and somatic sound-work practitioner; Ayla crafts magical art-experiences that encourage vulnerable confrontations and conversations with our innermost selves. They recently completed their MFA in Creative Writing at CalArts, and hold a BA in English Language & Literature from Pace University. Ayla also received professional conservatory training as an actor from Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England.
